I'm using Photoshop CS6 in Windows 8. I'm trying to listen to Pandora radio, but sometimes when I pan the image it crashes the sound in Flash Player. This happens in either Chrome or IE10. Please fix this issue.

You should ask the Flash Player team about that.

Photoshop doesn't use Flash unless you are using a Flash panel or File Info dialog, and doesn't use Audio unless you're working with an old audio annotation or a movie with audio.

Panning the image just uses your GPU (video card) and CPU.

I'm not really sure how panning an image in Photoshop could cause problems in the Flash Player inside another application or browser.

Thanks, yeah I don't understand that either. Seems very strange.

I've recently built a Windows 8 box, and that's when the fun began. I have the latest drivers, but there's still a bit of oddness, perhaps drivers still need to catch up.

I was having issues with the background blacking out earlier and thought they were related, but I got that fixed and the sound issues remained. Hopefully it's just a driver issue and a fix will be published soon. Thanks anyway.

Win8 drivers still are not the most stable, and there are quite a few OS bugs waiting for fixes.
But I'm still scratching my head about what could explain this.

The background flashing or going black/transparent is a known Win8 problem. We're working with all the parties to get it resolved.
