With Photoshop CS4 from the same installation disk installed on 3 different PC's here, i have this problem on only one PC (the other two do not exhibit this problem.)
Problem: I open six (or any number) of jpeg images of approx 1 meg size. Select "scripts", select "image processor". select "open images" as source, select "select folder" as destination, (with a folder set up) select "jpeg" as file type and hit "run" . It runs for a bit and then says "sorry, I could not process the following files". It displays copys of the 6 images in the open window interleaved with the originals and does not write them to the folder i have set up and selected. It works properly on two other PC's.
By the way, I uninstalled PS on the first PC and then re-installed it rather than just installing it over itself which i think just corrects corrupt bits. (Don't know if this is true, but it didn't make any difference). I'm not actually using and script here, just trying to use "scripts" to automate saving batches of photos and perhaps re-sizing.
Also should mention it does create the folder "jpeg" within the new folder (or a folder "tiff" if i choose tiff as the file type.

Fixed! When I specified different directory to save, it somehow overwrote them to original files, but it worked
