Photoshop: Problem closing "Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working" (Old video driver)

Whenever I close photoshop cs5 extended by clicking on the x in the top rhc I get a box which reads adobe photoshop has stopped working/ windows can check online for a solution to the program/ check online for a solution and close the program/ close the program. Image attached, I hope.

The program appears to close. Windows 7 64 bit.

I actually thought this was a bug report to adobe but it seems to be some kind of help request. Oh well. And why, really, do they want to know how this makes me feel? It makes me feel like I would prefer it didn't happen.

Glad to hear that updating your video card driver solved this.

For others experiencing problems with video drivers, this document will help.

GPU and OpenGL support | Photoshop CS4, CS5

Essentially, it's best to go directly to the nVidia or AMD/ATI website to get the absolute latest video drivers.
