Lightroom Classic: Problem selecting and applying presets

If I hover over a preset the image changes to show the affect of the Preset. If I click on the preset and move the mouse away from the Preset the effect disappears. It is hard to select a preset as a result and it can take several attempts to select one. Any ideas out there please?

Have you updated to 7.3.1? That was released yesterday.
I'm not having the problem you are seeing. If I click on the Preset it is applied and stays.
Try a different mouse and or pointing device.

I don't think it's your mouse.  It's probably Lightroom.
What type of image are you working on?  RAW or JPG?
Do all the presets behave the same way or is it only certain ones?
I ask because there's been some confusion over what presets are and aren't  available for RAW vs. JPG.

Hi Tom.....thanks for your interest. I use it for processing RAW files as I have always done. It is all the presets (probably around 4 in the current batch that I am processing) that I have been using and all of them have been a problem. I have installed a new mouse which has improved things considerably but not totally.
