Lightroom Classic: Problem when exporting Black and White photo. Poor quality and grey wash over exported image

I am having a issue come up when exporting a Black and White created photo from Lightroom. The exported photos quality is highly degraded with a grey wash over the image and also what seems to be some banding in part of the image. Same thing happened when I sent it to Photoshop from Lightroom. It came into Photoshop with the same problem. Although the edit in Lightroom looks really nice. I normally edit color images and do not change them to Black and White but have not had this issue before.

I have been helped by two different Customer Assistant Technicians and they were not able to find a solution. We were not able to resolve the issue. We tried everything from reinstalling the software to changing the file extensions and options. Any thoughts?

Craig, some visual examples of what you are seeing would be great. Can you include screenshots? What profile are you using when you render the file from Lightroom to Edit In Photoshop?  A screenshot of your Edit In Photoshop Dialog might be helpful as well.

In what program are you viewing the export? If you bring your export back into Lightroom does it show correctly?

A screenshot of your Export dialog showing the settings would be helpful.

I am viewing it in Zoner, but the same is in any viewer. If I import it back to Lr no improvements, still grey blurred photo.... Thanks. :-)

This is usually due to insufficient noise reduction and/or excessive sharpening settings with high ISO image files. Your image file is ISO 6400 and has very high visible noise. Try applying Luminance noise reduction at 1:1 Zoom view to reduce the noise. You may also need to increase the Color noise reduction.

The Library module preview will give you a more accurate rendering of what the export file will look like, especially when using Resize to Fit.

Yes! You was right Todd. I changed settings and preset. Thanks a lot and have a nice day! :-) Positive think is that I can now see how it will look after export in the Library Module! Petr.
