I'm running Windows 7 Pro Dell XPS 2015 computer.

My camera is a Nikon D3300.

I have my camera setting set to saving my file images in Adobe, Raw.

I took a snip of the message I'm getting.

I just updated all my files using the programs update feature.

I transferred my photos to my desk top from the camera itself and not thru any program.

If you have an update to fix this problem please add a link here in this discussion please.

Read it carefully and especially the two links to know:
- which ACR version is needed for your camera
- which ACR version is compatible with your current PSE version.

If your camera is too recent for your old PSE version, your free solution is to download the DNGconverter mentioned in the faq. That standalone software (not a plugin) can batch convert a whole folder of raw files to the DNG raw format that your old PSE can read and edit. An additional batch step, but free and no quality loss.

PE11 supports Adobe RAW 7.1  You might have a different version. You might want to upgrade your PE to version 13 or later, then your D3300 RAW will be acceptable. You can find the later version on Ebay cheap. Or try converting the RAW to DNG.
