I have a problem . I use PS CS6 . I meddled with my swatches/ colour tools in the top right corner , since then I couldn't change or pick any other colour . It always becomes black , white , grey shades. No matter whatever colour I choose , Be it pink, yellow or red . What do I do? . Help me out . Please . I have a poster to design.

Howdy Joyous,

Are you sure you haven't changed your image to be grayscale?  You can verify this by clicking Image > Mode and seeing what is checked.

Another idea is that you've activated a layer mask on accident and you're painting on that.

Does that make sense?

Thanks,
David
