Printing problems after installing Windows 10.
Printing form Lightroom causes the paper to jam, ALL other programmes are still printing OK.
Printer is HP photosmart D7360.

Contact HP for driver updates.

Lightroom has zero control over the paper feed of your printer - that is all controlled by the printer maker and printer driver.

I had to remove and install new printer drivers for most of my printers and scanners after installing Windows 10.

I have installed the latest drivers but, didn’t remove the old one first.
Will try that if I can find how to remove it.

I'm not the one complaining, I'm offering a suggestion to reinstall all printer drivers

Just looking for a solution not conflict.
This gets more strange because, prints OK in FastSone, capture one and Lightroom if I run it through the Perfect effect plug in.
Printing from Lightroom just loads the paper but doesn’t print, the printer screen just goes back to stand buy and then attempts to eject the paper without any attempt at printing.
It looks as though it gets the load instruction but not the print info, this has just changed after Windows 10 upgrade.

Again, that is entirely under the control of the printer driver. The application gets information from the driver about the size of printable area, sends the image to the driver, and the driver and OS do the rest.

So there is something wrong with your printer driver, and you need to contact the printer maker to determine if they know about this bug in their driver code and if they already have a fix for it or not.

Hello,
I wanted to print a photo from Lightroom 6 on a HP Photosmart D7260.
As described above, the printer loads the paper and then stops.

Does anyone have news about this issue ?

Best regards

Contact HP about the driver issues with your printer.

I have exactly the same issue. Everything prints perfectly from all the other applications (including Photoshop Element 11!) If the issue is the driver, why is the issue only with Lightroom?

I had 11 programes that all worked OK before the upgrad, only Lighroom stoped after Windows 10 upgrade.
Adoby said that the problem is entirely with the printer driver, this sounds a bit strange as I still have 10 programes that print OK.
Contacted HP they said it cant be there driver as only one programe has a problem, it has tobe a Lightroom, it look like a case of customers come last again.
The only workaround that I have found, is to load a free copy of perfect effects LR plugin, you can then print from Lightroom. Am now looking at Capture one for raw development, this print OK.

That sounds like you got someone in support who has no idea how the printer driver code works, and applied really bad logic. There are multiple printing APIs, and if only one of those APIs breaks, then only the applications calling that API will be affected by the bug.

I contact HP support today. I'm waiting for an answer.
Anyway, it seems I'm not alone with this issue.
Are the others still stuck with this problem or did they manage to receive a solution from HP support ?

I have an HP D7260 also with the same problem.  If it is an API problem then I would expect that Photoshop would also fail. Same product family should use the same API, no?  Photoshop (and every other program) I have work fine except for LR. I work around by saving the job to JPG and then loading it into PS to print.  Very lame and I do not believe it is an HP issue. There are no more updates to this driver.

You'd think so, but they're not even written in the same language. Lightroom generally uses newer print paths than Photoshop.
