Photoshop CC: Printing issues - colors washed out

I’m experiencing poor print quality (colors are washed out) when printing from Photoshop CC.

As a professional landscape photographer and artist, I have been printing from Photoshop for years without any problems... That is until approximately 2 weeks ago.

I’m printing to an Epson 7900 Stylus Pro Professional printer. After contacting Epson and producing prints utilizing several other applications, the problem ONLY manifests itself when printing from Photoshop.

I can print using Lightroom, as the problem doesn’t correspond to this Adobe app.

When I was on the phone with Epson Support for about an hour, I believe we went over every printer setting possible. It didn’t matter which printer settings we changed within Photoshop - if I attempted to print from Photoshop, the print is awful. It didn’t matter if the 7900 Stylus Pro was controlling the Color Matching, for instance, or whether Photoshop was controlling the color, etc., absolutely nothing works from within Photoshop. From every other application, it’s fine. No problems.

Hope Adobe addresses this issue soon.

Kevin-
Which OS are you running on? We've had several customers report problems after upgrading to Mac OS 10.14 Mojave. Generally, the solution has been to delete the instance of the printer in the OS Prefs and reconnect. We haven't made any changes to the print code for several years.

Tom:

I'm running the latest OS - 10.14.3. I'll give your suggestion a try and get back to you.

Thanks!

I deleted the StylusPro7900-15C75F printer in Library > Printers but it had no effect. Suggestions?

Try updating to the latest driver if you haven't already, or just re-installing if you have, then delete the instance and reconnect. Have you reinstalled Photoshop yet?

Reinstalled printer driver. Deleted and reinstalled Photoshop CC (20.0.3). Nothing has worked thus far.

I experience no problems printing from Lightroom, Preview, Word, etc. Photoshop is the only app manifesting these issues.

Thanks again.
