I recently upgraded to LR Classic 8.2 from LR 6 when I was printing to my Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer with LR 6 managing color. In LR 8.2, it does not manage the color properly (See attached with example from Epson Preview).

When I first started exploring this problem, I was not able to print properly even if I had the Epson printer manage color. I then found this posting with a rather convoluted work around. I was not able to figure out how to replicate this on my LR 8.2 + Windows 7 + Epson 1400 setup.

I opened Adobe Customer Support ADB-6425709-D4Q6 and an agent connected with my system. Since we were able to create a JPG file, he said the problem was not LR 8.2 and to check with Epson. When I asked Epson about their profiles, I was told to replicate the problem with another program other than LR.

The effort of trying to sort out the problem with Adobe Support seem to allow me to print with the printer managing the color. However, I consider this a bug.

I was disappointed that Adobe said that this was not a LR problem when others had similar problems on the MAC.

I put together a collection screen shots including the gamut warnings (mismatch) in Soft Proofing. You can access it from ""; user=pi, password="PiForward!xxx" replace xxx with 923.

I consider this a bug in the Print Module of LR Classic 6.2 since it world in LR
