presets export

Under the edit mode there's a menu that says presets with a sub-menu that says, "Export/Import presets." When you choose Export, it shows a list of everything available for export. However not all brushes, styles and action i have are listed. Is there a way to fix this. I used to just copy my presets folder to a disk, cd, flash drive but now for some reason that directory doesn't contain all my presets. Where is adobe hiding them...

OK, figured it out but it's lame.  If I add a new brush from a download by double clicking it or from the brush panel, Photoshop opens and lets you use it. However it doesn't save it to the presets folder as you have to do it manually. Why can't they make it so PS knows to save it.

Hi John,

No worries. For reference, the file locations of presets, actions and settings can be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preset-migration.html
