i have now tons of presets in lightroom and it becomes tedious to find one, scroll lists and rollover each to test.

It would be nice to have :
- create categories to store presets from Mattk, Photomorphis, kelby, nicolesy, serge ramelli, photonify,... as we create collections for images
- have a solo mode like filters when we open a folder of presets, it closes the other ones
- have an icon to display all presets of a folder/category full screen with a slider to change size of thumbnails. ON1, topaz,..; do that. really powerful to compare effects

best regards

1. "create categories"  I believe is already possible with Groups, if I understand your suggestion.

The "FixPresets" plug-in from John Ellis is very useful for changing the Preset folder.

2. "solo mode"  +1  Useful idea.  (CUrrently you can make use of the 'Favorites' Group in Presets)

3. "icon to display all presets....full screen..." +1  Useful idea.
Plug-In alternative is

hallo Robert,

i am not sure with groups.
when i buy presets from XXX i receive folders "bw", "color pop",.. with lot of lrtemplate or xmp files in it.
we cannot create a group "XXX" containing these three folders.
we need to mix all lrtemplates together. correct ?

i have seen capture monkey whih generates as many virtual copies as presets in a folder. and then, does it delete copies ?
