Adobe Premiere Elements 12 - Export Options - MPEG Drop-down Menu - PAL DVD Widescreen.
The output size (720x576) is wrong and distorts the image - surely it should be 720x405.

The DVD standard says it should be 720x576 PAL and 720x480 for NTSC. What is the resolution of the image and what is the distortion you see?

Thank you Satish. I queried this because when I have tried saving a 16:9 widescreen HD MPG using the "PAL DVD Widescreen" option, the resulting image width is substantially narrower than it should be. When I saw that the Frame Size and Output settings for this option read 720x576 (the same as that specified for "PAL DVD Standard") I assumed this was an error and accounted for the distortion. I see that other options offered in "Publish and Share" do specify a 16:9 frame size at the various resolutions. So I am puzzled by the problem with the PAL DVD Widescreen setting.
