Premiere Elements needs to handle variable frame rate files.

I edit video from Google Streaming service which is generated by my Logitech C920 webcam.  Both work in Variable Frame Rate.  At present audio and video syncing of VFR decays with the length of the file.  I now need to convert it to Constant Frame Rate for Premiere Elements 14.  I understand this problem exists in PCC as well.  Such an an inelegant solution for such an elegant program

Yes, please add support for VFR or at the very least generate an error on import.  Right now Premiere Elements AND Premiere Pro give the impression that all is well when a VFR file is imported into a project. Then of course you find out later when your audio is all out of sync.

Agreed! If they don't add support for VFR, why not inform us on this......

Before i even came to the point where i realized that it was due to VFR (which happens to be an on-going issue for years), i wasted a lot of precious time looking for answers that weren't there.

And now i have to use/rely on Adobe's Media Encoder or a 3rd party solution (i.e. Handbrake) which adds up more time to the process/workflow, which isn't cool at all when working on many projects.

Concluding: This is everything BUT professional, ADOBE...
