Centering for post-crop vignette! Such a useful tool in plug-ins like Silver Efex 2. In many cases being able to center the position of the vignette in Lr would change that effect tool from useless to perfect.

Have you tried radial gradients in Lr5? - In some ways not as good, since not the same styles as post-crop vignette, but in some ways better, since any local adjustment can be applied.

Yes, I use the radial filter for different effects, including vignette depending. But ultimately, for workflow's sake, I use post-crop vignette much more.

At least part of the reason is that if I saved a preset with a radial filter on it I can forget sometimes and miss it when I apply it to a photo later. That the filter was saved with the preset is hidden unless I have the rf tool in use. With the p-c vignette I can always see from a quick scroll down if it is on a preset.

Having a center feature is just one more useful little thing to streamline the workflow.

Hello all -

I am currently working on creating a UI design which attempts to address some of the ideas and discussions you all are having in regards to the post-crop vignette feature in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. During my research, this topic (among others) are helping to inform the future design ideas of the post-crop vignette.

Firstly, I just wanted to thank you all for contributing to the forum and sharing some great information and ideas.

Secondly, I wanted to share my progress with the project. It can be seen on Behance here http://on.be.net/1ADdZAa. At the time of this writing I am exiting the Research/Discovery phase and getting started on the Design Phase. If you have any comments or feedback, I would love to hear it.

Thanks for your time.
