Receiving an error message when in Lightroom 5 trying to do an HDR edit in Adobe PS 2014. Error message reads: "Error 2: photoshop is undefined. Line1 > photoshop.notifyLightroomDocSaved "lightroom-2.0',025441A-0D9A-4A64-A352B2FA7D3'. 'Lacie:Pictures:Photos Stored from Lightroom:Artistic Photos 8:2012:2014-07-26:_8009939-Edit.tif'); [from a screen capture] Photos stored external n LaCie drive. Seems this might be a program error as I have not had this problem with previous versions of Adobe PS.

It says Photoshop is undefined, suggesting LR cannot figure out where PS is to start it up. The part of the message that says "lightroom-2.0" also seems strange. Finally, to do HDR between LR 5 and PS-CS6/CC/CC-2014 shouldn't require a TIF.

What exact versions of PS and LR 5 are you using, and have you installed or uninstalled any versions of PS, recently?

Do other Edit In things work, like a simple Edit in PS from LR without using HDR or Smart Objects?

There was as problem with LR 5.5 and PS CC 2014 where Edit In PS from LR starts up PS but then the image never opens. I think it had something to do with PS startup scripts not being installed properly by the initial PS-CC 2014 installer and one solution is to uninstall and reinstall PS. That might work for you, here, though after installing PS you might also want to install LR 5, again, in case it needs to see where PS is installed as it is being installed.

Using PS version 2014.0.0 and Lightroom Ver 5.5 and Camera Raw 8.5

Unable to send any photo from Lightroom to PS for edit. Continue to get a blank screen in PS. When I try to do an HDR edit using the edit/transfer process in Lightroom I receive the error message.

PS works fine as stand alone editing software and when using Adobe Bridge to select the photos.

I reinstalled Photoshop, Lightroom, even OS X
Nothing working.

Photoshop CC 2014.2.0
Lightroom 5.6

Any other way to fix it?
