Portable Lightroom

I like many others have a Windows Surface or equivalent. The vast majority of my photography work is done on my desktop. However it would be nice also use Lightroom on the Surface to perform culling, loading images from the camera (via SD slot) when traveling.
The goal would be to have everything synced via the cloud. I currently do this via Microsoft OneDrive (DropBox and Google Drive also work, I used those previously); however it can be slow and I also must manually verify the replication is complete before opening the file on the alternate computer.

As a first step, it would be nice if Lr supports the major cloud storage systems (e.g. Google Drive, DropBox, MS OneDrive) to verify the replication of the catalog is complete.
A second step that would be nice would be to move the previews via configuration to an alternate directory so it does not have to be replicated.
A third step would be to store the catalog and images in the cloud based on an enterprise database (to avoid corruption) with full backup/recovery built in and the files and DB replicated locally for performance.
