Photoshop: print quality problems with Epson R2880

Photoshop is not coordinating with Epson R2880. The color is terrible, distorted and dull.
I bought a new Macbook Pro- Lion operating system. Then I bought the latest version of CS5.1. I tried printing and the color is terrible.

I called Epson. We ran diagnostics. I printed pictures from both preview and iPhoto. The color is perfect. The problem is that I do not want to print from those programs for obvious reasons. You cannot control size. You have to print from inferior images- jpgs.

I called Adobe and have been given a run around. I have been escalated to the escalation department. That was a joke. They had no more insight than the regular help desk. I am experienced user so the problem is not user error.

I reported this problem January 23, 2012. It is now 3 weeks later and I have not been able to print because I cannot accept the low quality that is being produced from Photoshop.

I have been using CS4, Epson R2880, claibrated monitor and paper profiles and the results are very good. Now I have CS6 and the prints are dull and have a muddy green cast. Is this the same problem?
