I have a problem with the image saving via the shortcut Apple-S on a server in Snow Leopard.

That tells me that I did not write permissions.

Most likely the error is correct and there is a permissions problem on your system. Check the directory you are trying to save to, and make sure you have permission to modify, create, and write files there.

File/Folder permissions are sometimes a problem on systems that have been upgraded from previous OS versions -- the upgrade creates a new user id, but leaves some files and folders assigned to the older user id. (I've had this happen on my own system)
