Change Pointer Style / Size HELP....PLEASE
I have suffered without learning how to "fix the pointer" for years now..."And, I just can't take it any more..." :)  The pointer is SO small it takes me incredible amounts of time to find where it is on the screen.  How do i modify the pointer to scale it up 50-100 times.. Or better yet make it like AutoCAD where the cross hair lines extend full screen for easy find and pick!!!  Your solutions are GREATLY appriciated.
Thanks, Mattee

Howdy Matthew,

No worries.  You can choose from a couple of different brush tips in Photoshop.  Please be aware that at certain magnifications, however, what you set might be overridden for the sake of clarity (like when you zoom in a bunch).  You can find the settings under Preferences > Cursors.

If this doesn't solve your issue, please ping me here.

Thanks and have a nice weekend,
David

The only "choice" that is really bothersome is the pointer attached to the "Rectangular Marque Tool" Icon in the top left of the tool. tool bar.  Than is the one I would like to change to some sort of a full screen cross hair "pointer" instead of the super small dot that gets lost on the screen immediately.
Thanks, Matthew

I see why it hasn't bothered me all that much that it's a short cross hair— because I'm not watching the cross hair, but the marching ants. And since it's just a rectangle, I haven't really minded repositioning it or using Transform Selection with it if I've got it in the wrong place. So I've not  thought about it before.

 That said, I would like the arms of the crosshairs to be longer if they could do that. I think full screen might be overkill, and even distracting, but longer would be better. It would be a lot easier to line it up with precision against a straight edge. Then I wouldn't have to do so much repositioning or transforming when I'm trying to select an actual rectangle precisely.  '-}
