Plus sign appears after preset

A plus sign appears after the name of my most used preset all the time. I assume it means it has been modified in some way, but I haven't made any changes to it. If I update the preset with the current settings, the plus sign disappears, but after a while it's back. This has happened many times now and I don't understand why. It's not a big problem, but just a bit annoying. Does anyone understand what is happening?

The plus sign indicates it is set to be applied on Import!

Is that what it means? Then it's no wonder I can't get rid of it! :-)

I believe the Plus Sign thereĀ  means it is the present setting in your Import Settings. While importing you can choose to have a Preset automatically applied. And those settings are "sticky". So, if you go back to the import dialog you'll see it.

It also looks like you can right click on the preset and de-select "Apply on import".

Hope this helps.

Thanks! That's correct. I apply this preset during import.

So then it seems that everything is as it should be.

This was great when they added it. We already see the plus sign in the collections panel to indicate a collection as the "Target" collection that is addressed by the "B" key on your keyboard or the little circles in the upper right corners of the grid in Library mode. If you don't see this in the collections panel, check the "Catalog" panel and the plus sign will be on the "Quick Collection" which is the default "Target" collection. Right click on any collection to and you have the option to make it the "Target".
