PHOTOSHOP: Please Update to allow Typeface Grouping by Font Family

With the new font system in Photoshop CC 2014, it is extremely tedious and annoying to select new fonts now that EVERY font variation is listed in the font family dropdown menu. In CS6, there was only ONE "Helvetica" or ONE "Times New Roman", but now there is Condensed, Italic, Bold, Extended, etc. all in the font menu. This makes my font list 7x longer and basically cuts my workflow speed in half when looking for fonts. I understand that the search feature is an alternative, but I dont want to have to type in the font that I want every time. Scrolling through ~70 fonts is way easier. The font selection is also much more glitchy or laggy since the update. It takes several seconds for the menu to finally stop resizing itself and it constantly is jumping around making it difficult to select the font I want.

Please see this forum post for visual description of the issue: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1501209

In the next update, PLEASE add the option to revert back to the way it was in CS6. I know from reading forums that many other users are frustrated with not having the ability to do this.

Thank you,
