Photoshop: Please let us switch off the "bird's eye" feature

this could be a suggestion, but for now it's a problem that's driving me crazy : how do you turn off that damn "bird's eye view" option? It's activating when i hit the space bar at certain magnifications and jumps out and disorients me. it's so annoying it's not true. it may be a good tool when someone specifically requests to use it, but otherwise we should either have the option to disable it, or disable it for the Space bar only. Seriously, this "feature" makes me seethe, it totally ruins my productivity as i'm set working at a particular area/magnification then instead of being able to scroll w/ the Space bar as we always did, the view jumps out jarringly and sometimes seems to change the tool i'm working w/ too.

PLEASE, give us an option to disable it.

Adobe still fails to see this as a bug. This is not a feature request, this is a bug report. My post a little above, from August 27, 2012 (!!) shows exactly how to reproduce the bug.

The topic is a request to turn off a feature that introduced a bug. No need to start a semantic argument. The bug is clearly defined in this thread and there are steps to reproduce it. It has not been addressed since 2011 and it still exists and is still incredibly annoying.

One thing I don't understand is that they think it's a feature. A feature that disrupts productivity? Maybe the developers here don't use this feature at all and they know how to turn it off.

extremely disappointing response from Adobe about this, i would have hoped after spending well over £1000 on their products over the years i would have got a little customer service and not outright apathy, especially for something that obviously a lot of users feel strongly about. for a professional company, leaving an annoying glitch for years w/ no feedback/progress updates and ignoring customers is unacceptable. i can only assume you no longer want our money/custom, so rest assured my next upgrade will be w/ a different product.
