Have you tried Photoshop Elements (which replaced PhotoDeluxe many years ago)?

That's what I have......I like most parts of it, but still love Photodeluxe. It is like Photoshop for Dummies :) Thanks for the suggestion though. It is actually the hue/saturation mode that I miss from it. I like the ease of the slider from more cyan to magenta.....red to green......blue to yellow(not sure if I am remembering the exact color adjustments) but that is my most missed tool. Very easy to use.

That sounds like the selective color adjustment, not hue/saturation.

Have you checked out the Quick Edit mode of Photoshop Elements? It's entirely slider based. You get to it here:

I have, but really prefer to fine tune the color in my photos,(red/cyan, green/magenta, blue/yellow) which is not an option that I have found on elements....thanks

Yes....the color balance part in the top box. That was one of my most used features :) I've never used the tone balance

It's a little generic visually, but it gets the job done. Thanks VERY much!!! :)

Cool. Glad to hear that gets the job done. MTSTUNER's a great resource to the community. Thanks!

I totally agree with you. I have Elements, but it is NOT the same. The effects on Photo Deluxe were so great and easier to manipulate and use. I got great results with manipulating my photos for my oil paintings. I actually find Elements features very limited as an artist. I wish they had stayed with a more user friendly format and upped the effects possibilities. I hardly use Elements now because it is too much like PhotoShop. I am also hoping one day someone over at Adobe will do a really great paint by number vectorization feature filter effect. Why is that so hard? This is the 21st century.any way, I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Not sure I understand correctly, but have you looked into utilizing Illustrator’s Live Trace and some Scripting for numbering the fields?
