Please add the ability to open multiple image files and then save them all as Save For The Web (i.e. as size-optimized files) in one "bulk" operation?

I'm actually amazed this isn't already available as an easy feature in PhotoShop Elements (V11). It seems like a low hanging fruit feature and a common task for your customers - would you agree?

The answer is : 'process multiple files' in the editor (all PSE versions).
Many more options.
The only advantage of 'save for web' would be that metadata are stripped off.

Thanks Michael. but stripping out the metadata, etc. is exactly what I want to do - so that my photo image files are "optimized" and have a smaller file size, and therefore more likely to get through when I try and include one or more as an email attachment.

I know storage space is inexpensive these days - but for several reasons it's also nice to have photo image files that take up less file storage space on my desktop or ultrabook, etc hard disk!

I can see two different needs to compress jpegs:
- including photos in a web site : something like 50 Kb image size. Individual compression (no batch) and 'save for web' are ideal.
- sending images via email or uploading to a web site. Let's say 1920 x 1200 pixels, quality average or high : image size 200 to 400 Kb. Excellent quality for displays, and acceptable size. I have no way to check, but then stripping the metadata should be totally negligible. 'Process multiple files' has more options like renaming and optimizing. The 'export' function from the organizer has similar advantages (Windows).
