ACR / LIGHTROOM - Please don't turn off the Visualize Spots function...

when I leave the Spot Removal tool. Every time I change tools and go back to it I have to turn on VS again.

The situation described by the OP, the non-stickiness of the Visualize-Spots enable checkbox, happens in current products:  PS-CC-2015.0.0/ACR 9.1, either has a raw file plug-in or CR layer filter, and in LR 2015.1. 

I imagine it's always been this way, and, personally, I'd prefer the visualize-spots enable not be sticky and always start being off, since I usually do spotting by looking at the photo, not with visualize-spots telling me where the spots, are, but I can imagine there could be situations where it would be advantageous to being on until turned off, so if the behavior is changed, then please make a preference that allows it to act how it does now, which is initially off, or be sticky.

One clarification, in LR, at least, if you remain in Spotting and switch between photos the Visualize Spots is sticky, but once you go out of spotting mode and come back in it'll be off, which I think is what the OP also wants to be sticky.
