Please consider selective syncing control for iOS devices from CC cloud. Since everything is now automatically synced with all iOS devices, the number of images that can be synced from a desktop to the cloud is limited by the memory size of the smallest iOS device. If you had a way to specify which collections were synced to each iOS device, then this restriction would be lifted. Otherwise, the iOS memory will just fill up and make that device unusable for other applications.

Just a bit more.  I would like to sync all of my collections from my desktop to the CC cloud.  Then, using the web browser LR mobile capability on my laptop, I would have access to all my collections without having to sync my desktop and laptop catalogs, which I understand is problematic.  But, I cannot do this because it overflows the iOS devices - iPad and iPhone.

Also, since my iPhone memory is small, forced syncing of collections to it makes it almost impossible to take advantage of the new camera feature in LR mobile.  As a result, I do not load the LR mobile app on my iPhone.

Hope this helps.

I have the same problem, Chuck: iPhone 128GB and iPad 32GB. Tablet is always full and the phone is always empty.

As you probably know, Apple addressed this same problem within their iOS Photos app.  They provide an option to keep the "large" images on their web and download "small" ones to the iOS device.  They devised a way to control the amount of memory in the iOS device that is occupied by photos.  Following their approach might lead to another solution.  Thanks for listening.
