Lightroom CC: Please allow users to change sort order of photos when iOS library photo picker is invoked

I would love to see the Lightroom iOS apps add the ability to change the sort order of photos when the iOS library photo picker comes up. (I can change the sort order of the Creative Cloud photo library, but not the iOS library, when invoked.) All my life I’ve learned to read from top left to bottom right (reinforced by years of using iPhoto and Apple Photos), and why Adobe would “move the cheese” and “reinvent the wheel” on this basic feature is beyond me. It adds cognitive load for a user to have to learn the reverse of what is expected, and makes Lightroom Mobile unusable to me.

Hi Trace, could you please just clarify what you mean by "the iOS library photo picker" and the "Creative Cloud photo library" so we're all on the same page?

Hi Victoria, sure. When I first launch the Lightroom CC iOS app, I'm looking at Lightroom's built-in library, synced to the Adobe Cloud. I realize that I can change the way this view sorts, by tapping the three dots icon in the upper right.

But I want to import a photo from my iPhone's "camera roll" (my photo library that is synced to Apple's iCloud). So I tap the button next to the blue camera icon--the one that looks like a landscape photo with a plus sign over it. This opens up my iOS's native camera roll (what I mistakenly referred to as "the iOS library photo picker"), sorted by most recent photo at the top left.

I would like it to sort with the most recent photo at the bottom right, instead. That's where my eye goes every time, because I've been conditioned to think of bottom right as meaning "the end of the whatever." (List, paragraph, library, book, etc.) It causes an unnecessary expenditure of energy to have to think about which end is up, every time.

I hope this explains my thought better. I'm sorry I wasn't more clear the first time!

That makes perfect sense, thanks Trace.

The same ordering would make sense in the main LR library as well, to be honest. I know you can sort them this way, but after launching the app again you see your oldest photo first, and have to scroll to the very end.

The same goes for Apple TV app.
