In both Photoshop and Lightroom, if you go to Help, type the name of something, or part of it, such as, say "Edit" in LR, a list of possible functions shows up. When you hover over any one on the list, it opens the menu with an arrow pointing at the function, and you can also see if there is a shortcut. Does that not work for you, or are you asking for something more complex?

Howdy Robert,

Are you looking for the ability to find what the shortcut for a given command is or are you looking for a way to find free shortcuts?

Hi I miss the same feature for years! A simple search box on the top of the  Keyboard Shortcuts and Menus dialog window. Usually when I want to assign a new keyboard shortcut I need to go through various tabs and section to find where it is instead of typing it in the search box and see the result immediately. (also could be used for searching what function is assigned to a shortcut).
