I ask this question on Dpreview. And have not received any answers that helped. My Hard Drive crashed and I reinstalled CS5 and now when I drop a photo into PS CS5 it will have plaid grid over the picture. If I click + or -one time it clears up .If I click again the plaid image comes back and so on. Hope it's not against rules ,but I am posting a link to sample on Dpreview that shows the problem . http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/pos... Neil

Update your video card driver from the GPU maker's website.
Your current driver has bugs in it.

Thanks, that fixed the problem. I should have installed up to date drivers before I ask for help. Thanks for the fast reply. Neil

We see this a lot - with different symptoms depending on which driver and which version each user has.
Glad to hear you got it sorted out quickly!
