Pin Location (Filters, Brush, etc.)

When you've used a filter or brush, and then crop the image, the pins that are outside the cropped area are no longer visible.  Is there a trick to seeing them so you can select and edit them, short of un-cropping to make the whole image visible again?

I find this is also an issue with presets that I've made.  If I crop an image, then apply a preset, the pin location is often outside of the cropped area and can't be selected for adjustment (unless, as I wrote above, you uncrop the image to show the whole photo).

Thanks.

Hi, Bev,

I think they solved this problem already.  I'm running CC/2015.6.1 on windows/10 and they seem to have fixed this problem.  If i set a pin (for example with the Brush tool) and then paint over some areas of the image (which may or may not be near the pin) and then crop so the pin is outside the newly cropped image - LR just shows the pin at the edge or corner of the cropped image.

Thank you, Dan.  I just purchased the CC photography plan and will install it soon.  I'll find out first hand!  The problem was not solved on the latest update to the standalone version.

I appreciate your reply!
