I haven't used my Adobe Cloud application in over a year.
I tried opening Photo Shop and Illustrator today and nothing is showing up on my screen. I even clicked on Adobe Application Manager icon and still nothing.
Yet Adobe still charges me for a student subscription.
If someone could please help me I greatly appreciate it.
I use a mac.

First, install the updates.

What OS version are you using?

I am using OSX, 10.6.8
As for the updates I logged in Adobe Cloud and clicked on Photoshop to download it again. It says that My computer doesn't meet the following requirements. Same goes for Illustrator.

OK, that is too old for the current version of Photoshop, so you won't be able to use the most recent updates.

It sounds like you tried to use the MacOS migration tool at some point, and it failed to copy all of the support files.
Use the un-installer from each programs's application folder to uninstall the programs, then use the creative cloud app to redownload and reinstall the applications (and all the missing support files).
