I have a problem that my installation of Photoshop shows the wrong color. All pictures opened in Photoshop shows too much red. Why is this happening and how can I change it so that Photoshop will show the correct colors?

As you can see in the picture below it has too much red in it while opened in Photoshop (left side). My screen has been calibrated so it should show the correct colors (right picture). Also it is only in Photoshp that this happens.

Can anyone help?

Go to "Assign Profile" and check to see if there is a profile assigned. Assuming that you are using PS at its default settings it should say sRGB. If not, and thats the color space you are normally using, go ahead and assign it there.

Then check in your color settings..command-shift-kon a mac...control-shift-k on Windows, and make sure everything is set to preserve embedded profiles so that it doesn't happen in the Future.

Most likely your OS display profile is incorrect (doesn't describe your actual display).
