Photoshop - Save For web:

It would be wonderful to choose how resizing in the SFW window works. Currently if you change the size of the image in SFW the entire image resizes. 90% of the time this is great.

This is fine if you need proportional variations. But what if you need slightly different, non-proportional variations? You then must exit SFW, resize the canvas and SFW again.

I'd LOVE a checkbox to either scale all or scale canvas only. This would allow me to make 2 or 3 pixel differences in the canvas without needing an entirely new image.

For example.... I need an 800x600 image, I also need a 656x496 image. These are not proportional. However, there's only a 4 pixel difference in height (proportional would be 656x492). If I could simply increase canvas size by 4 pixels in SFW it would save me an entire new image to manage. Currently doing this alters the image vertically and the non-proportional scaling is exceptionally noticeable, even for only 4 pixels.

Just an idea.
