Photoshop: PS CC 2014. Curves adjustment layer menu item disappears after some time.

Problem exists in Photoshop CC 2014.

After using Photoshop for an hour, the curves menu item from the adjustment layer menu disappears and gets replaced by a separator. (Highlighted with blue in the following picture)

The separator can be clicked and the curves adjustment layer will appear.

Restarting Photoshop brings back the curves menu item. But after an hour, it disappears again.

If you restart Photoshop, does it come back? What OS/version are you running on?

Thanks Martin,

We haven't figured out steps to reproduce this issue in house. If we can narrow down the steps to make this happen, or what may be in the system environment to cause this, we can look into fixing it.

I think it's already fixed in the 2014.2.1 update. Haven't experienced the problem since the latest update =)

Hi Lenin, That's good news. Has anyone who has updated to 2014.2.1 still experiencing this issue? Here's how to verify you have the latest updates: http://adobe.ly/PS-Up-To-Date
