There is a new Photoshop plugin called Kwik. It allows artists to create iPad storybook pages directly in Photoshop and generates the code for the app. You need Corona to preview and publish the app.

The plugin is limited to a few interactive animations. It would be nice if Adobe created their own version with more options and that would work with Flash's iOS packager.

Hi Diane, have you seen Adobe Edge yet?

It should be capable of generating interactive apps in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Hi,

Yes I've looked at Edge but does it actually output the app ready to preview in Xcode or AIR for iOS launcher. The Kwik plugin exports a build ready to preview or package as an app for the Apple store via Corona.

If Edge can do this with PhoneGap or another SDK, is there any tutorials or documentation on how to do that?

Thanks.

I'm don't know for sure. Definitely something to ask the Edge team about on their forum: http://forums.adobe.com/community/lab...

Diane,

Kwik has evolved a lot since 3 months ago (when you posted your comment here). I invite you to visit our site again (since then you can create path animations, in-app purchase, sync text and audio and a lot more).
