Photoshop: Filters no longer working and are corrupting the file.

I just updated my Photoshop CC 3 days ago and today I noticed that when I try to use filters on a single layer of rasterized type it messes up the entire file and all the layers. It will not revert back to the previous state (using history). It all started to act weird after I tried the "Irish Blur". Now all the filters are acting weird. I have quit Photoshop and rebooted my computer but it still does it even when I start over with a new file.

What OS version?

That looks a lot like a video card driver issue.

And what is "Irish blur"? Do you mean "Iris blur"?

Oh, that makes more sense than Irish. I thought that was an odd name. Yes Iris.

I am using 10.8.5. Here's a screenshot with all my info.

Hmm, we haven't seen similar problems with that GPU or OS version.

One other possibility - do you have any Nik/Google filters installed? If so, you may want to disable them and contact Google for updates. (they had an update a little while back that corrupted the GPU state)
