Photoshop error - trial membership

I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop but keep getting an error regarding my video card. I open Photoshop and then open a new file and within 1-2 minutes it continuously crashes. Is there a way I can delay my trial membership? I would like to wait until windows 8 is upgraded, maybe it will correct this problem without me having download another driver, etc.

The warning about the video card means what it says -- you probably need to update your video card driver, or disable GPU usage in Photoshop's preferences.

And have you installed the updates for Photoshop after downloading the trial?

No, there is no way to delay the trial.

Thank you for your response to my problem. As I cannot delay the trial and really would like to try Photoshop, can you send me a link to the proper video card driver, the instructions for changing GPU usage.

I have not downloaded updates for Photoshop CC yet, will try that first.

Thanks

You need to determine what video card you have in your system, and update the driver from the GPU maker's website.

Again, for the time being you could disable GPU drawing in Photoshop's preferences (before you open a file).
