I am using Photoshop Elements 8
When I open the Organizer, the catalog and all photos are gone!

From this forum, I found the advice:
"If you go to File>Catalog and see no catalogs listed, first check the three radio buttons (Catalogs Accessible by All Users, etc). If you try all three options and still nothing shows up, then your current catalog is in a custom location other than that which is currently selected. If you need to know where your catalog is stored, just go to Help>System Info and look under the Current Catalog header."

So, the location of my catalog is:
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\Test\

It seems I may have messed things up when I tried to create a test catalog or album??
I cannot find this exact path on my computer. If I could, is it possible to reconnect the catalog. Thanks...

Ok - problem solved. I just had to go to File-Catalog and choose the correct catalog!

catalog's in a hidden drive once you hit delete by accident. if you know at least one filename, LE8C8000 for instance, click on my computer and type the first six digit LE8C80 and all the deleted photos will show up. free recovery softwares are not allowed to read some drives.

Goodluck.
