Correct, because you haven't selected again to use the new tolerance.

Changing the tolerance after making a selection won't change the existing selection.

... this seems to me very unprofessional because I never hit the same pixel again. Especially with high detailled images oder with noise I get each time a new result even when I'm NOT changing the tolerance.
For me the only acceptable functionality would be an automatic update of the new selection during changing the tolerance. Only in that way it would be able to perform satisfying refinement of the selection(s).
I hope that Adobe will fix/upgrade this point otherwise I'm sorely disappointed in Adobe.
