Photoshop Elements 11: Adobe email service down? I do not use micosoft mail products on my system and must use the adobe service unless there is a way to use the eudora mail client. That said, when I attempt to use the adobe email service, the application represents a verification email is sent but I never get it. The email address in preferences is correct.

Please check you spams folder for any mail from apsmail@adobemailer.com.

If you can't find any mail, Please clear your Online services data located at-
C:\Users\suresing.ADOBENET\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Online Services\Photoshop Elements 11.0.0 and
C:\Users\suresing.ADOBENET\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Elements Organizer\11.0\Organizer\OLS

After deleting this data, refresh the OLS services from Edit ->preferences -> Adobe partner services ->Refresh. Now repeat your scenario once again.
Please let me know if you still don't get the verification code.

I just tested this from PSE11 and it worked fine on my side.

Check your Spam or Junk folder/filter. Check with your ISP as they generally have an additional filters before the emails are sent to your client (Eudora). The email will come from apsmail@adobemailer.com with the subject line: "Adobe Photoshop Elements Photo Mail (HTML) E-mail Verification"

I asked my ISP about 'blacklisting' or spam filters applicable to the adobemailer domain. The responded that they were not aware of any. They also asked if adobe had any email rejection notices from my ISP related to the adobemailer attempts to email me that you could provide.

This is one of the "noreply" kind of automated email servers, there is no inbox to check for rejection notices.

Still trying to resolve this. The latest from my ISP (Mediacom) is a question if the mail from adobemailer.com originates from adobe or an ISP.

Hi Donald,
The mail from adobemailer.com is sent from Adobe itself.

Do you have any other email client (from any email service provicer say gmail, yahoo etc.)? If so could you please try this workflow with another mail ID just to verify that this issue exists for all email clients or for particular client only.

I reactivated my Yahoo.com email client and did the workflow. I got the verification email in my yahoo mailbox. I changed the preference in elements back to my mediacom account and attempted again. The verification email was sent to the yahoo account. It appears the problem is not at the adobe end. I will continue to pursue this with mediacom.

I tried to send a photo to my mediacom address using the verified adobe email service with the yahoo account. I never received the email with the photo. Mediacom will do no more for me without a copy of a bounce message. Is it possible to get one forwarded to me from something other than adobe mailer?

I'm not sure we could provide such a thing, but I'll check. I'm not sure why they would need such a thing. The emails your received through your Yahoo account don't count for anything with Mediacom?

Hi Donald,
Apart from Adobe Mail service, you can use Microsoft Outlook or Windows mail (provided they are configured on your system). The workflow will be: Select Microsoft Outlook/Windows Mail from preferences. Initiate any Share->Email attachment workflow. After clicking on 'next' button, the client window (corresponding to your mail client) will appear. In this you can easily add/update contacts/subject.
Please let me know if you face any issues.

We may as well close this. I am convinced the issue is with Mediacom. I used my yahoo mail account to try and send a picture to my mediacom account. I never received that mail either. Mediacom does not seem to want to look into it. Thanks for your efforts.

I have the same problem that Donald had. I never received the verification email. I checked my spam & tried to clear online data services as you mentioned above. There was nothing to clear in those files.

I would rather use my Windows mail, but it is not a choice as an email client in the sharing preferences ( I only see Adobe Email Services & Microsoft Outlook). My email provider is Comcast.

Hi Lynne,
'Windows mail' will be shown in email client preferences only when Windows mail is configured on your system. As 'windows mail' option is not shown at your end, I assume, Windows mail is not configured on your system. So please configure Windows mail and let me know if this option is still not shown at your end.

Also you said that the online services data folder were empty, have you ever used any online service from Organizer. If not, please use any service (say Facebook/YouTube) and let me know if that is working fine?

I too have the sdame problem when using an att.net address. I think there may be something wrong with the adobe side that make some domains reject their mail

Our email server doesn't check the domain of the address we are sending to. Rather, the opposite happens all the time, ISP's and the email they provide often contains an extra layer of spam protection that happens before it get to your account. In these cases, they often block a whole domain (such as Adobe.com) because many emails come from an Adobe.com address. Have you talked to Att about this?

I am using PSE 14 on a Windows 10 computer. I have tried to send photos from organizer and all goes well until I hit send and then it tells me to check my address and password. All settings in mail program are correct. I have gmail and access it through my browser. I need directions to open my windows mail preferences. I am confused about the above directions. I hope you can help me because it seems that I can not chat, or call anyone in Adobe with Elements. That is a shame for this program's clients. Elaine
