Photoshop editor 12.0 crashes on startup.
Hard crash, cant use editor.

Do you have any third party plugins installed? Have you tried disabling them?

No third party pluggins, basic install. Cant disable them because it crashes on startup.

Also started with shift key to disable addons, still the same, crashes once its finished startup.

Richard,

For this crash, could you please try renaming the following two files and then re-launch Editor. These get created on re-launch if not found.

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\12.0\ThumbDatabase.db3
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\12.0\Locale\en_us\MediaDatabase.db3

Let me know if this does not fix the issue.
