Photoshop: edit swatch color

It would be handy to be able to edit a swatch color. Something like this:

- Right-click on a swatch
- Select "edit swatch"
- Pick a color using the standard color picker

Swatches are presets, and for use in actions and automation, they need to remain as they are defined. Otherwise you'd get ever changing results from running your actions or automations.

You can always define a new swatch, then move it into place in the preset manager.

Or you could use something like PRISMA, which gives you global color swatches that can be changed as you like and even update the colors of your design automatically:

In Photoshop, that's about like trying to figure out exactly which grains of sand you used in a sandcastle by the ocean twenty years ago. Swatches select a color, then that color can be mixed with other colors in millions of ways.
