Photoshop: Default OpenGL/transparency settings don't render transparencies correctly

The attached image best describes this problem. Basically it takes considerable effort to get Photoshop to accurately render files with transparent backgrounds.

This bug has been around for as long as I can remember and for years I always had to have solid white backgrounds in my documents — a nightmare when you have to export transparent assets — until I found the right combination of settings. I wouldn't mind actually being able to to take advantage of Photoshop's advanced OpenGL features though, and, especially considering how wildly inconsistent the rendering is, I'd love to finally see this fixed.

+1. This bothers me on a near-daily basis.
