We installed "Photoshop SC6" 12/2013, it's been perfect until now. For some reason It won't open, the files are untouched & unchanged, but we can't open it.
We've tried a few things, troubleshoot & scans came up clean, we tried "System Restore" to 2 day's earlier, but it didn't help. The PC has "Windows 7","Norton Internet Security' & automatically updates. I'm at a a loss & my is NOT happy !!! Any suggestion's ?

What, exactly, happens when you launch the application?

Nothing happens when you click to open it. However, only once when I tried to open the actual application file from its folder did it bring up a message that said something like "Uninstall and re-install this product" and referred to it as error code 1. This is Photoshop CS6 (64-bit), by the way

OK, so the application is damaged somehow and can't run at all.

You will need to uninstall Photoshop CS6, then reinstall it.

Now it won't let me uninstall it! I tried restarting the computer and trying again like it suggests, but that didn't work.

Why won't it let you uninstall? And it's starting to sound like your system has more problems than just Photoshop...

Adobe Application Manager comes up and tells me that the uninstallation failed and to try restarting the computer and uninstalling again. It also links to a Adobe CC Cleaner to help remove it

The cleaner tool will remove all of your CS6 and CC applications, plus all support files. But sometimes it can clean up problems that prevent the installers and uninstallers from working.
