Hi all.

I'm using cs6, i have a problem when using a tool, and i want to move to another tool it does not allow me unless i click on/off the page, then will allow me to change tool

its irritating, for example if I'm using the brush tool and want to move to an eraser tool or press apple z or even want to combine the layers or even changing the % size of brush, I actually have to click off the page again for it to allow me to continue.

This is slowing down my work flow, and its making me do unnecessary mistakes. Its never happened in cs3-cs5 and it does not do it with the other machines in my studio

What OS version are you using?
And have you installed all the Photoshop CS6 updates?

Hey Chris, and thanks for the reply

HI ITS AT WORK AND I THINK ITS MAVERICKS, yes we do updates as soon as it comes up, however i will check for another update tomorrow as it could be a bug, but dont think it is. could it be a setting somewhere?

at this stage, im actually contemplating going back to CS5. its because you have a process to work where you do and dont look at things eg, when erasing on the top layer to reveal the bottom layer, pressing 4 gives 40% on the eraser, if its on 100% it just stays and does not go to 40% unless i click off the frame, if i click on the frame i have to go back 2 positions in the history, to go and then press 40% to continue with what im doing. this going back and forth is time consuming

That looks like You put it in the plugins folder for CC.
Then you launched Photoshop CS5 by (12.x) by mistake.

The interfaces do look similar - because it is still Photoshop. But note the version numbers on the plugins you showed (12.0 and 12.1 -- corresponding to Photoshop CS5).

It sounds like you have multiple versions installed, and are getting them confused.
