Move tool bug: Whenever I have the move tool selected and "show transform controls" checked, this happens when I move an object in different places: http://bit.ly/LmVoQG

Also:
- it disappears when I do some things like zoom or disable the rulers
- If that stuff is inside of the canvas, I can take the selection tool and delete a selection of it

That's a video card driver bug - it's not applying the blending correctly when drawing the overlay.

Updating your video card driver from the GPU maker's website will probably fix it.

I updated my driver, but now whenever I open Photoshop, a window pops up saying "Photoshop detected graphics hardware that is not officially supported. If you experience problems, please uncheck the Use Graphics Processor..."

- If I keep it checked, Photoshop crashes
- If I uncheck it, the problem with the move tool still remains

I had CS5 before this and it worked flawlessly. In fact, I'd rather have CS5 with no problems vs. CS6 with problems. If anyone could direct me to a download link for the Photoshop CS5 trial, that would be appreciated.

So your updated driver has even more problems.

Which GPU are you using? Which driver version? And did you update it from the GPU maker's website or from another site?

NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
Version: 8.17.13.142

(And yes, I did get the official update)

You didn't quite answer the question. Microsoft's update is "official" and about 2 years out of date. You should get the updates from Nvidia's website.

If the most recent NVidia driver version is crashing and causing redraw problems, then you need to talk to NVidia so they can get details and figure out the bug in their driver.
