Photoshop: CS6 hangs when painting on layer masks with Wacom

Photoshop CS6 has been unresponsive for long periods of time (30 seconds or more) multiple times this morning. Seems to be happening while using a Wacom Intuis 3 pen to edit layer masks. If I wait long enough, the program will respond again (cursor can be moved around, but cannot interact with Photoshop at all).

I'm working with latest CS6 beta under OSX Lion. Have Firefox, Lightroom 4, and iTunes running in background. System is Mac pro with 10GB RAM and the file is pretty simple (12 megapixel image with a few curves / black and white layers). I'm able to run Photoshop CS5 similarly and have not seen issues with the same file. Have rebooted the computer and see no change in behavior.

If there is some way I can provide additional system info that may help investigate, please let me know.

Please try the solution in this document:

http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/p...

Installing the plug-in from the document above should solve:

• menus, panels, or dialog boxes turn white and become unresponsive
• keyboard shortcuts stop working
• lasso tool selections close prematurely
• Photoshop becomes unresponsive

Let us know if this solves your issue.
