Photoshop CS6 Filter Gallery filters showing old interface, toggle switch would be nice.

I realize that the old filter menu was much faster than the one on Photoshop CS5 & 5.5, but it would be nice if I had a checkbox for which filter interface I could use.

Since I noticed in the system info menu how different versions of files are being loaded into the program it looks like it would be easy to have a checkbox to turn on the version of the filter menu that was in CS5 etc... This would be helpful for other features as well that have been swapped out between versions.

Look under Preferences>Plugins and check show the filter gallery menus.

The only filter that has a different interface is the lighting effects filter afik

The filter menu in CS6 is no different from CS5 except for the Filter Gallery filters being hidden by default. And as noted above, you can change that in preferences.

Thanks, I wasn't expecting it to actually have a checkbox for that.
