Cyril, did it ever work? If so, what changed?

Install any plug ins? (Nik, etc): http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

Is your video driver up to date?: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

I have the same issue with Photoshop CS6 running on Windows 7

I did _all_ the steps in
http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...
already and nothing helped.

When I open PS, it loads, the empty screen shows up and after a few seconds it closes without any error message. Before it closes I can click on the menu and browse in there, select and change preferences in example, but when I close the preferences dialog PS closes immediately.

Also, I can open PS files but right after they have been opened, PS closes again.

Also, the verify font script from the link above runs through, doesnt show any font issues, and after closing the dialog PS closes immediately.

no custom plug ins installed, removed the Camera Raw plug in temporarily, no change.

graphics driver is updated.

If you need any information that might be helpful in finding out the root cause please let me know.

Thanks for you help, lost a couple of hours on this already...
